A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held last weekend for Freedom Communities

Freedom Communities,a California real estate developer and builder,
held an open house for one of their first completed homes in the Phase
1 development of The Chanslor Place, Feb. 24 and 25. During the grand
opening celebration weekend, Freedom Communities offered a traditional
American style barbecue to prospective buyers and raffled off gift certificates
to favorite local restaurants and businesses. The grand prize was a
Sharp LCD display color television, won by Blythe resident, Laurie Jimenez.
Miss Blythe Brianne Owens, joined the Chanslor Place sales and marketing
team and representatives of the Blythe Area Chamber of Commerce in the
ribbon cutting ceremony to kick off the weekend. The children were entertained
by the Palo Verde Community College pirate mascot as well as a variety
of sporting games. An estimated 350 excited prospective buyers toured
the model home located at 1480 Mesquite Road and were educated more
on the energy efficient attributes and attractive features of the Chanslor
Place homes. A total of 10 two-storyhomes are currently being delivered
to excited Phase 1 homeowners. The home owners recently completed a
home orientation walkthrough and are preparing to move in. “We
are proud to deliver our first homes to the families in Blythe and welcome
them as our new neighbors,” said Scott Clark, CEO of Freedom Communities.
“Our team has worked diligently with the city of Blythe throughout
this process and feel this is an extraordinary beginning for the development.
We are pleased to be able to offer affordable one and two-story energy
efficient homes to the growing community of Blythe.” Phase II
includes a total of 38 one and two-story homes, including three models
that are priced in the mid $300s.
After this past weekend’s event, the available Phase 2 homes are
